Relevance of 2D animation

This is the age of 3D animation, and advancements in the field of computer technology and cinematography are only going to improve 3D. 3D animations provide a great amount of detail to the animations and make them appear closer to reality. There is also a great deal of space in 3D to add different visual effects and create motions that appear natural to us. This is the reason most animation companies in London are now also providing 3D video creation services in addition to their 2D videos services.
The many advantages that 3D has over 2D create the perception that 2D animation is no longer of any value. However, due to the following reasons relevance and importance of 2D remains paramount still today.
The foremost reason for the relevance of 2D Videos in today’s 3D age is the cost difference between the two. Only large businesses and high budget movies can use 3D animations for everyone else it is not affordable at all. This is the reason small businesses operating in UK prefer to use 2D animation videos to 3D.
Where the goal of the animation is to convey a message to the audience in the form of a complex idea, 3D animation would make it even more difficult for the viewers to understand the concept. 2D animations being simpler can convey any complex message in an easily understandable manner than the 3D.
Simple and Imaginative
The real reason behind the popularity of animations is that they take us into an entirely new world. 3D animations bring animation close to reality and for videos where this is not required 2D animated videos are the best choice. 2D animations provide much greater room for flexibility images and the movement of other things in the background.
The size of 2D videos is much less than 3D videos because 3D stores a great amount of data from the different angle shots. The smaller sizes of 2D videos allow them to be spread and distributed easily over the internet. The process of creating 2D videos is much easier than creating 3D videos, if animations are done using computer graphics.
All the above points reveal that 2D animations are still relevant and they can still be used to create great animations. These animations only require a strong story line to capture the attentions of the viewers.
