Why Are 3D Animations So Popular?

3D animation has become very popular over the past few years. People are now eager to watch more 3 dimensional videos, hence slowing down the demand for two-dimensional images. 3D animators create these animations by using specific programs. This is why 3D videos are often referred to as CGI, which is short for computer generated imagery. So why have 3-dimensional videos generated so much interest? Below we look at some of the reasons.
1. They are More Realistic
People have in the past been used to the unrealistic world of animations, but now we are welcoming a world of animations that is more realistic to what we experience in real life. This is something that audiences in London can connect with. 3-dimensional videos provide a good representation of the character since one is able to view it from all angles as opposed to the 2 dimensional nature we were previously used to. The characters’ movements mimic human movements a lot and we do not get to see a lot of unrealistic scenarios or occurrences to the characters as was common with 2-dimensional videos.
2. 3D Characters Have More Depth
When it comes to 2D videos, you only see the character in its x and y axis. However, 3D provides more volume to the character and this means that the animator can have creative control on how the character will appear. There is use of more lighting effects in a 3D animation video, and there are no limits on the kind of texture that can be used on the characters.
3. They Are Attractive
These videos are more compelling to watch than 2D videos. They are created using highly developed programs and therefore do a great job of grabbing ones attention. Their effects are also reassuring because even though they are not real, people find a way of relating to their realism.
Concepts and ideas that have yet to be developed can be created and presented with the use of 3D imagery. This is particularly useful in the business arena because as a business owner, you could create a model of the product that you wish to introduce to the market and get ideas on how to improve on it or even just create awareness. The good thing about this is the fact that product promotion can be done even with the absence of the product. 3D imagery is only set to grow in demand substantially in the UK.
