The tools I will show you in this video will help solve this exact\nproblem. For example, let&#8217;s say you want to\ncreate content on the &#8216;Ketogenic Diet&#8217;. In this case, you would type this\nkeyword into the search bar and wait for the results to appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What\nyou will see in the results is a list of the most popular articles for your\nchosen keyword, based on the engagement they have achieved across different social\nmedia platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\ncan then simply go through each article one by one and consider creating video\ncontent on similar subjects to these text-based articles. As these articles\nhave proven to be popular with people interested in your chosen topic, if you\ncreate videos on similar topics, it is likely that your videos will also do\nwell. But your goal shouldn&#8217;t simply be to copy this content into video format\nbut to add your own unique voice and improve on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Buzzsumo\nis also great for doing competitor research. In this case, all you have to do\nis type in your competitors URL in the search bar. And voila, you will see\ntheir most popular articles. You can then use this data to create video content\nwhich is even <em>more<\/em> insightful and engaging than your competitor\u2019s text\nbased articles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Buzzsumo\nhas a free version which allows you to do a few free searches per day. But they\nalso have paid versions which allow for unlimited searches and include a host\nof additional features. To learn more about their paid options, you can check out\ntheir 7 day free trial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>#2:\nTUBEBUDDY<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We couldn&#8217;t create a video on generating content ideas without mentioning <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tubebuddy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"TubeBuddy (opens in a new tab)\">TubeBuddy<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TubeBuddy,\nif you aren&#8217;t yet aware is a free chrome extension which you can download from\ntheir website. Once downloaded, to search for content ideas, simply go to their\nkeyword explorer tool and type in your target keyword. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On\nthe right hand side of the screen, you&#8217;ll see a list of keywords appear in the\ntab titled &#8216;Video Searches&#8217; which you can use for inspiration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alongside\nthis, click on the &#8216;Video Topics&#8217; tab and more ideas will appear for the topics\nthat you can consider creating videos on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In\naddition to showing great content ideas, what makes this tool fantastic is that\nit will give you a score for each keyword based on its search volume and how likely\nyou are to rank for it in YouTube&#8217;s search results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>#3:\nANSWERTHEPUBLIC.COM<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This is another fantastic free tool that can provide you with\nendless content ideas. It works by showing you the most popular questions web\nusers in your selected country are asking in relation to a certain\ntopic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All you need to do is head over to <a href=\"https:\/\/answerthepublic.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"www.answerthepublic.com (opens in a new tab)\">www.answerthepublic.com<\/a>, enter your keyword, select a country in the search bar and then click the &#8216;Get Questions&#8217; button. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As soon as you do this, an eye catching graphic shows the most searched queries related to your keyword. What&#8217;s\ngreat about this tool is that it sources its information from Google&#8217;s auto\ncomplete suggestions, which is based on the most common questions people are\nasking related to a topic in Google.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>#4:\nUBERSUGGEST<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/neilpatel.com\/ubersuggest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"UberSuggest (opens in a new tab)\">UberSuggest<\/a> is another great free tool which you can use to generate ideas for your video content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Simply\ngo to the UberSuggest website and in the search bar type in your chosen\nkeyword.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When\nthe results appear, you can check out the &#8216;keyword ideas&#8217; section. Here you can\nsee the popularity of your chosen keyword, related keywords based on their\nsearch volumes and the level of difficulty to rank for them in Google.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then\nyou can click on the content ideas section which will show you the most popular\narticles for your selected topic, based on their social media engagement metrics\nand backlinks that they have managed to acquire. Using this data, you can then\ngo through each article, just like you would with Buzzsumo, and see whether\ncreating video content on similar topics would work for your audience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>#5:\nREDDIT<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Reddit (opens in a new tab)\">Reddit<\/a> is another great resource to find good content ideas. If you aren&#8217;t familiar with Reddit, it&#8217;s the 26th most popular site in the world at present in terms of traffic. It includes millions of niche specific communities discussing their topics of interest which you can tap into to find great content ideas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\ncan do this by going to your chosen subreddit, which for our example will be\nthe ketogenic diet subreddit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once\nthere, all you need to do is browse through the thread titles looking for\nquestions people are asking. If a question has a decent score next to it, which\nis the number on the left, then you can take a note of this question. a higher score\nimplies that many people in the subreddit have a similar question and are\ninterested in a solution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\ncan keep doing this and form a list of all the popular questions people are\nasking in your niche. And then you can basically consider creating videos to\nanswer these questions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To\nmake your research even more complete, as shown earlier in the video, you can\nput each question you discover on Reddit into TubeBuddy to check its score.
